Came across this article in the Guardian featuring some great tips here
I'm an email pack rat and really have tried to work with David Allen's GTD system
Maybe someday...
In the meantime, I'm hoping to give focus to cleaning up my inbox clutter and will use some of Cory's tips to help me along.
Problem #1 - I have too many email accounts!

Nrrrd Grrrl - MC Chris video
This is one of my fave submissions for the MC Chris 'Nrrrd Grrrl' video contest.
Enjoy - and relate!
Oh and MC Chris will be at this upcoming Warped Tour if you are a geeky punk like me and will be there.

Sex and the Female Game player
After viewing the link below from Ad Age, I feel like the next logical step is for Vogue magazine to do ad placements in Grand Theft Auto 4...
Oh wait. We ladies aren't playing 'deep' games. We like our games fluffy and light. OK, I'll admit my love for Animal Crossing but I'm not sitting in front of my laptop playing a Thermasilk branded 'Find the Shampoo in the maze of bubbles' puzzle game.
And we are a coveted demographic but advertising takes the form of images of P!nk in front of a pink PSP or showing a pink glittery blinged out DS. Huh? Not very complex I would say.
But the kicker is the assertion that girl gamers have more sex. Wow. Who knew? And how do they know? The study wasn't by Wired magazine but was mentioned in their online blog and was in fact conducted by an online game rental company in the UK by the name of Gametart. Even Kotaku mention that this is nothing more than a publicity stunt by Gametart.
It's nice to know that the generalization of the horny gamer is now applied to the ladies. Maybe the simple fact is that regardless of whether you game or not, people enjoy shagging...
Here's the link to view the quick snippet from a talk on the female gamer demographic.
I can't find Limor Schafman's gaming blog so if someone knows where I can locate it, please pass it along. I'd love to discover more about myself.

The One-Day Sabbatical - LifeClever ;-) Tips for Design and Life
A friend just sent this to me. I'm on somewhat of a sabbatical right now so it was helpful to receive this and give thought to some non-digital attempts to recharge.

Bargainista: Weekly Wish - Women who rock!
I'm not sure how I came across this blog posting from the ever-so-fab Bargainista blog (what digital gal doesn't love a blog about shopping?) but I'm so thankful I did.
Eden (aka Bargainista) writes in this blog post about Women who rock! asking where the tech-gals are and why the ladies aren't more vocal.
Eden mentions in her post:
"Taking stock of the marketing/PR/corporate communications professionals who blog and podcast (I belong to that community too), the content creators are predominantly male... Women who are active in the digital and social media space can’t blame it all on the men. We can and should do a far better job of promoting ourselves and sharing the love. It’s up to us to make our voices heard and get more involved in the community."
There is quite a bit of discussion being generated in the blog comments and I welcome you to get involved.
